Shanling M8 Android Portable player
Thanks for your honest reply. Which reads : "our software team (so we suppose they're a real team of several people) is not able to solve a problem a guy who develops his app as an amateur in his spare time could do". Maybe you should ask the guy developing uapp if he can help you sorting...- PenguinHeadphoner

Shanling MCD1.3 - Multifunctional CD Player
Hi, That is the million dollar question about Shanling. Why keep releasing a new product every month that is fulfilling no need instead of taking time to release something that fits not sound like alpha or, best case scenario, beta testing. Regards- PenguinHeadphoner

Shanling MCD1.3 - Multifunctional CD Player
Hi, Because this is the way it is :) Go figure : the cheaper version has more features... That feature will be added to SCD1.3... one day. If they do not forget to add it. Or maybe that is not possible because they used hardware incompatible with MQA ? Anyways, I thought MQA was dead as it...- PenguinHeadphoner

Shanling M8 Android Portable player
Hi, Read the other threads about Shanling. Shanling IS a bad support organization. This is now a fact... When was the last significant update to their formerly flasgship device the M8 (that I own but will probably sell soon) ? Probably months ago AND with only font colour fixes as an...- PenguinHeadphoner

Shanling MCD1.3 - Multifunctional CD Player
Hi, This product sure looks nice even though I am unsure how many peaople still uses CD's in these days. I own or have owned a lot of Shanling products. They sound superb. All of them. This device has streaming abilities. It says "Wifi for DNLA, AirPlay and NAS". Not sure what is exactly...- PenguinHeadphoner

Shanling EH3 - Desktop DAC/AMP with Wi-Fi, USB Drive Playback and Flagship ESS ES9039PRO DAC
Hi, Thanks for your annswer. This topic may have been discussed multiple times before, but after my last post, it is YOU who asked what my favourite DLNA software is. I replied to you. And I thank you for you answer. That answer confirms that the EH-3 can not be used with "my favourite"...- PenguinHeadphoner

Shanling EH3 - Desktop DAC/AMP with Wi-Fi, USB Drive Playback and Flagship ESS ES9039PRO DAC
Hi, Weird. I posted simple facts about this product that I own. I can make a simple statement : there has been NO ANSWER in a month. And I can only note that there has been NO POST whatsoever about this in a month. Since there has been no answer, here is the screenshot of you own...- PenguinHeadphoner

ONIX Miracle - New Generation Hi-Fi Streamer
Oh... Don't ge(t me wrong. I'd be interested in a product like the Onix. It is EXACTLY the kind of product I would be looking for. Probably superb sound (your impressions and my experience with other Shanling products) and set of features that are exactly what I would like to get. Am I not...- PenguinHeadphoner

ONIX Miracle - New Generation Hi-Fi Streamer
Hi, Yes, I hear you... The synergy between device and headphone might not be the best. But I would have been surprised if those devices would have sounded really poor. I think I have already said what features should be added to Eddict and will not develop here. Eversolo does not release full...- PenguinHeadphoner

ONIX Miracle - New Generation Hi-Fi Streamer
Hi, Should we be surprised a 10k€ combo sounds good  It would be really a disaster if it even would sound just "average"... But as far as I am concerned, I am done with Shanling and their lack of support and Eddict and the long absence of features :frowning2: Waiting for the last hope...- PenguinHeadphoner

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Hi, UAPP can be used in several ways. It can be used as a local player and send files to an external USB DAC and given the name I assume that this is the primary use of that app. It can also be used as a media server if you enable the function. What does this do ? Simple : you can share the...- PenguinHeadphoner

FiiO R7 All-In-One Desktop Android HiFi Music Player Discussion & Impressions Thread

FiiO R7 All-In-One Desktop Android HiFi Music Player Discussion & Impressions Thread
Hi, No real frsustration here, except the slow Ethernet. Indeed, using Wi-Fi would be something to consider. Not sure what speed it would achieve. Me, I don't use Roon. It certainly is splendid. But I haven't really understood what it's usage is. I just checked : prices have lowered a...- PenguinHeadphoner

FiiO R7 All-In-One Desktop Android HiFi Music Player Discussion & Impressions Thread
Hi, I started a quest to find the "all-in-one" solution that woàuld fit my needs. By all-in-one I mean : - media server ; - streamer ; - DAC ; - headphone amp. I was looking for something rather simple to use AND reliable. I think I found it in the form of the Fiio R7... and must...- PenguinHeadphoner
