Any else have clicking when rotating the volume knob past 3 o clock? It clicks and juts forward slightly. From 3 to the max it clicks about 5 times. Luckily I never turn the volume that high while listening normally but it is annoying.

Well, I returned it. If any element X2 Pure owner comes across this post, I'd be curious if you encounter the same problem or I just had a defective unit.

Just received a new Niimbus after the one I got had the right channel die. I'm so glad to have it back!

Optical over i2s?

Cayin CS100 DAC barely used, looks new. I actually like how this DAC sounds but I want something smaller that generates less heat. I also have the Cayin 18'' hdmi cable for i2s as well as backup 6922 electro-harmonix tubes.

Black Cayin HA-300B MK II. Probably used for less than 50 hours. Has one 1" scratch on the right side and another on the left side (shown in pictures). I guess I'm not a tube guy. I got this and a Niimbus US 5 Pro and I actually like the Niimbus a bit more.

How's the Holo May with Niimbus? That seems to be the DAC to get from what I've seen.

Also, I compared the Niimbus to the Cayin HA300b and liked the nimmbus more.
