Big boy system: Oppo BDP 105, (no it's not an Ayre, but I defy you to find a better value) DK vs1 Reference mkii upgraded with Auricaps and metal caps etc. (this is an integrated amp running Siemen's CCA tubes from the '60's as a preamp, flowing into a solid state 150 amps per channel power section) pouring pure sonic enjoyment into PSB Synchrony I speakers). btw those CCa Siemens are $400 a pair and worth every penny. I was lucky to find a like new pair in Spain of all places.
