My First Headphones - PortaPro Or PX100-II ?
I think both are good. I also own both but seldomly listen to the PX100II. I think they are comfortable and they have solid bass especially for a headphone of this type - However, I also think they are quite veiled. If you just listen to them and no other, it's a little harder to tell, but as...- nonsupremous

Review: Skullcandy Mix Master – Duality
Hate to bring a post back from the dead after so long, but I picked up a pair of these at Best Buy for 112 bucks and THAT is a BEST BUY!! I was expecting a pretty decent headphone given the unbiased Skullcandy reviews I've seen, but it exceeded my expecations by a pretty fair margain. I think...- nonsupremous

Work out IME
If you like IEM's I think the best bang for the buck is the Meelctronics M6. They can be picked up for right around 20 bucks. For under 20 dollars, this is an amazing diamond in the rough! Bass that really slams and solid mids and highs. This is definitely an IEM that puts some motivation...- nonsupremous

Sennheiser MX 685 finding it's place in a crowded market
I haven't tried the true high end mx series, like the 980 or 985. I used to own the 880 but I'm not even sure if you can get them anymore. I think the 880 was a slight step up of the 580 in overall sound quality. bass was decent. If you're looking for an earbud workout headphone I am also...- nonsupremous

NEW! NCredible N-tune by Monster unboxing video. Impressions to come
I had a chance to plug my Walkman into a NTune display a couple of weeks ago and decided to buy them on the spot. I bought the white ones also. These aren't fine detailed headphones, so I would really recommend these for picky listening, but they are an incredibly fun and engaging headphone. ...- nonsupremous

Sennheiser MX 685 finding it's place in a crowded market
Hope they work for you. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. The workout specific headphones section is pretty lean here, so It's good you stumbled on to this. =)- nonsupremous

MEElectronics Thread!!!
I own the M6 and the S6P and they both are great values! So much bass in these tiny little headphones. But they have done a great job making sure the mids are still able to define themselves. This is the type of sound you rarely find in a 50 dollar headphone.- nonsupremous

Bose QuietComfort 20’s vs. Sennheiser Momentums?! Noise-Canceling vs. Noise-Isolating: FINAL WARS.
Quote: Interesting. The brief listen I had revealed no high-frequency hiss whatsoever. But I've seen people over the years complain of the same thing on headphones that I own and I have no such experience. My guess is one of two things. Either my hearing is going bad and I just can't...- nonsupremous

Bose QuietComfort 20’s vs. Sennheiser Momentums?! Noise-Canceling vs. Noise-Isolating: FINAL WARS.
Another disappointment from Bose? Too bad. I listened to a trial pair of these in the Bose store about 3 weeks ago and I thought they sounded fairly decent. But I only had about 30 seconds with them so, not really enough time to make a good assessment. I do remember though, the noise...- nonsupremous

Need new earbuds for the gym! I need some advice!
Perhaps one of the best all around sports headphones you can get in this price range would be the Yurbuds Signature series. If you are more into pumping bass, for 10 less dollars you can get the Yurbuds Ironman Series. I have been using Yurbuds for years. My first pair of Ironman series...- nonsupremous
