Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)
After I upgraded my N900 Exynos to KitKat 4.4.2, l suddenly noticed its music sound kicked ass. l was really amazed to find out it sounds totally different than before: the sound has become more natural, with a solid and punchy bass, and superior imaging. Before the upgrade I had bought a pair...- nallyvaico

Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Impressions
I'm not sure what you all guys mean by too much bass. After a proper break-in like 100+ hours it disappears, and the sound becomes very smooth and pleasant. I did observe the boomy bass at first myself, and sometimes had to EQ it to levels well below the 0 point- nallyvaico

Sennheiser Momentum On-Ear Impressions
I purchased my MOE 2 days ago. Out of the box it sounded rather rough with a clear accent on the bass. I then auditioned it at home and was immediately disappointed - as my benchmark was Grado SR60, the MOE didn't provide enough transparency and imaging the Grado did. I then decided to give it a...- nallyvaico

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)
A very good post indeed! You've brought to the spotlight what I was long suspecting. I'm on the international exynos version, and to me it sounds good enough to use with my Grado SR60's. So good that I render any thought of an additional DAC hookup redundant thus far. The source's refinement...- nallyvaico

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)
I've noticed the Note 3 sounds best with 32 Ohm head/earphones, like the stock ones. The 32 Ohm Grado SR60 sounds fantastic, the stock earbuds sound decent too. But... the 16 Ohm Monster Turbine sounds very dull and bass-less. On the contrary - it shone on my previous HTC Rezound, which...- nallyvaico

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (24-bit/192KHz)
I read it - crap. Just no need to argue really, same sort of discussion as if I talked mp3 guys into jumping lossless - the difference they wouldn't hear anyway. My current setup is Note 3 exynos + Grado Sr60i. Seems decent enough, to my surprise and amazement, as at first I was sure it would...- nallyvaico

Talking BS. Fine if CD is your only source - be happy wit it. But they are plenty. I for one prefer digitized vinyl, and it is made mostly in 24/192- nallyvaico
