Watts Up...?
I noticed that @Rob Watts used a plural: “the PSUs are my own design.” I assume this means the collection of PSU units manufactured for the Quartet? Not that there‘s a new PSU coming for DAVE as well? An alternative to the DC6 would be interesting… -

CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
I have both, and was switching back and forth between them tonight (even before reading this thread). I am shocked at how much I enjoy the MS + Mojo 2. It's an incredibly fun rig that, on a pure "listening joy level", does give the DAVE a run for its money. As I just posted on the Mojo 2...- muski

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]
Interesting. I'm utterly addicted to listening to my Mojo 2 fed by M Scaler via an Audiowise Opto-DX powered from the unregulated port of a Bix battery. Like optical toslink, there's no possibility of RF noise currents, but with the benefit of being 786kHz instead of 192kHz. It sure makes the...- muski

Fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I had the old hard case for the Mojopoly. It was nice, but was sometimes too warm and the devices would overheat and turn off. Looks like this 3D-printed case will allow for better ventilation.- muski

Focal Utopia General Discussion
+1 I have a 2018 vintage Danacable Lazuli Reference for my OG Utopia, and a Lazuli Ultralite for Stellia. Both great pairings to my ears.- muski

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV
Happy to sell you mine. I swapped my stock pads for CP Yang sheepskin pads—see this Headphoneer article: https://www.headphoneer.com/focal-stellia-vs-fostex-th900mk1-th900mk2/ The CP Yang pads not only sound better to my ears, but are also slightly softer and more comfortable. And at $19.55...- muski

CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
Very interesting. I've recently come to the same conclusion about the DC4 ARC6. Seems like the right intervention. Last weekend I connected my Mojo 2 dual mini-coax port to the highly-optimized source chain that feeds my DAVE (Transporter->PhoenixNet->optical...- muski

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
I used a SRC-DX between my streamer and the M Scaler precisely for the reason @Reactcore points out—avoiding the USB chip of the M Scaler. It did slightly reduce RF noise. I later swapped it for a Sonora ultraDigital which further reduced RF noise—noticeably to my ears . Note that the...- muski

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
My Ghent Audio DC cables (DC-7N16C) just arrived. The 3.5mm x 1.3mm fits perfectly in the unregulated Port II of the Bixpower BP-90. Great service—ordered them late Sunday night and delivered four days later. Well made, well-shielded and they sound great.- muski
