Plantronics Backbeat Go2 Mini Review
Just got these on a whim for running and exercising purposes so I thought I'd share what I think so far. They are designed with a pouch that is also a back up battery and I'm not sure in practice where this would benefit - though it's a cool feature. I used these on a flight to SLC and...- MT45

Gun-Fi
Love this thread! Headed to the range this morning in fact. I'll post at least one . . . The 1911 is my favorite and this is a Dan Wesson Guardian in 9MM. I've got plenty in .45ACP so this was a must have. Locks up tight, crazy accurate. I've spent many hours competing in IPSC but don't have the...- MT45

KEF LS50s anyone?
Am getting a set of these for a second home use and wondering if anyone has these and what system are you using with them. Particularly the headphone amp side? Are you using a dedicated amp or the headphone jack of an integrated? Please include which headphones and type of music you listen to...- MT45

TEAC UD-501 2 questions . . .
I'm building a summer home system of KEF LS50s and want to use the UD501 as my DAC. I will be using the TEAC integrated amp for power. Source files would be my FLAC rips (that sit on my network at home). Lot's of questions about best practices here . . . Sound quality is important but NOT...- MT45

Which closed around the ear with Schiit Magni + Modi (or Loki for DSD)
I have the Schiit Magni and Modi. Love them. I do not lose much when switching from them to my Woo Fireflies system. I have a set of Shure 840s I use with the Schiit stack and I've got to tell you I really love these headphones. Find my other posts for a fairly detailed commentary I made on them...- MT45

Upgrade from Shure 840?
Love the new 840s I just got. Even better than my HD600s. Now I want to buy a 3rd set of cans that would have the same sound signature as the 840s but even higher performance. What would you reccomend? I will keep the 840s to use with my Magni and Modi Schiit stack. But want a higher end phone...- MT45

HD600 now less impressive than it was???
No problem with thread change. Still related to the 840! Hopefully I can add some thoughts to my experience with the Shure 840s I'll second everything I already mentioned. The bass is just shy of palpable, but again I'm comparing to th HD600 and no others Bass shows up when it's supposed to and...- MT45
