Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model
If you are referring to Content Transfer, it broke after 'upgrading' to iTunes 12.0.1.26 It no longer recognises playlists, Smart or standard. You can make folders but they will revert to the individual songs track number order. If someone has a workaround...?- MrQ

Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model
Cheers. I'll try that. Edit: That's worked nicely. It plays my DSD files. I'm going to see if I can embed some album covers.- MrQ

Sony NWZ-ZX1 - 35th Walkman Anniversary model
No it doesn't. That occasional 'beep' would annoy me though and the software messing around with my settings. If that's written in Android I'm sure people will hack it out. I would.- MrQ

Victoria and Albert Museum... Where is that again? Oh yeah, bloody London. So I can go to the exhibition. Get there in an hour. Try to enter a competition to celebrate Sennheiser’s partnership with the Victoria and Albert Museum’s “David Bowie is” exhibition. Not a chance. Sorry you...- MrQ

Intellectual property giveaway on the discovery of terminal illness
I will never know you, nor probably ever meet you. Yet the urge to want to do something, say anything, is as strong as when I lost my father so quickly to cancer. Some of us are left behind. Some of us leave before our time. None of it feels right. I’m crying now. For...- MrQ

Your 5 newest CDs (or LPs)
Good call on Uneven Structure's album. Did you get the CD with the 'ambient' extra disc or the limited Record Store Day double vinyl? -

Best audiophile metal and rock albums
You are welcome. Just one word of caution. If ordering from the USA add up to another $30 for registered/tracking/signed-for. This can really put a dent in your budget. On Discogs if you commit to buy first before checking the postage with the seller first you can be in for a shock. -

Best audiophile metal and rock albums
Hi Scott, These are most of the releases. http://www.discogs.com/Alice-In-Chains-MTV-Unplugged/master/21706 Personally I have the CD and the 2010 reissue on red vinyl. You should at least get the CD if you want a higher res. If you haven't been to discogs before... sorry about... -

London Calling meet impressions
Big thanks to Nadeem for setting up another great meet. It was good to see some old faces and some new ones. It was a really friendly crowd. Thanks to those who enjoyed my Pioneer SX-1980. Anyone looking for advice on getting a vintage amp should come over to the Calling All Vintage...- MrQ

Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners
That's 240w at 8ohms you're plugging into I believe Fang Bain recommended that one only went up to 100w when plugging directly into an amp. Even with the HE-Adapter out of the back of my SX-1980 I don't get as much range on volume knob as I do just using the head out. How much...- MrQ

Do audiophiles "like" music?
I'm afraid the only thing you have proven is your ignorance. The breadth and depth of what is and what could be considered music is vast. Fine artists and musicians have developed, experimented and challenged the notions of what art and music is and what it can be. As in fine art...- MrQ
