Will AMP 9 not be compatible?

Is there a reason why the DX240 is compatible with AMP 1-8, and not AMP 9?

Does chip select affect the sound? Which micro SD cards are non CS?

I was using an 004 until I received my 005. I am using an Empirical Audio Off Ramp 5 to good effect. I find the BNC and HDMI I2s both work very well. I did need a custom HDMI cable made to work with the LKS pin pattern.

Speaking of size, just wondering if the only reason for the size is to fit the batteries?
