They have a wide bore, I find them quite balanced in FR. I like their soundstage on Anni.

i also agree with mid-fi upper limits to $1500 in these days, it will be also interesting to know what in lower end could push over its price tag. Reading CJ SG Report, seems that the new DUNU Davinci / Gizaudio could be one of them. Pilgrim OG also.

I firmly believe in Opamp rolling, so my best suggestion is to try and see. During my experience i discovered that not always the more expensive are the better, depends from many factors, DAP, Iems, gain, and so on. For Ex i never loved Burson, too mid centric for my tastes, but YMMV as said...
