    B&W P7 Wireless - VS - Audio-Technica ATH-DSR9BT

I have both the P7 and the ATH. P7 is trash compared to the ATH honestly. There's no better wireless set than the ATH at the moment. Amazing clarity and details, and bass.

    B&W P7 Wireless - VS - Audio-Technica ATH-DSR9BT

I have both of these wireless headphones. The DSR9BTs are hands down the winner. The P7W aren't bad, but they don't have the detail and imaging of the DSR9BTs. The DSR9BT's bass quantity might be slightly less than the P7W, but the quality is much better. The overall tuning of DSR9BT is...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

5U never came. They sold out..their VP offered me a free upgrade to the Noble 6 if I wanted or a refund...I chose a refund and just bought the ASG 2.5 instead due to the lack of reviews/info about the Noble 6. Hope I made the right choice...the ASG 2.5s sound awesome to me, but I'll always be...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

It's worlds better in terms of bass and overall detail. I thought the IE80s had too much bass where it didn't belong while the ASG 2.5 separates everything nicely and more precisely with even more bass quantity/impact. This is all without me touching the bass port, I still haven't opened it...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

Okay, so I actually returned the Noble 3s and instead bought the Noble 5U and the Aurisonic asg 2.5. I felt like the Noble 3s were good but I was looking for something even better, if its possible.

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

Just got my Noble 3s today, paid 270 for a used pair in good condition on Ebay, these things sound amazing. Pretty much everything you said. The detail/clarity/separation is so much better on these compared to the IE80s. Also, the bass is more accurate and doesn't bleed into places it doesn't...

    Noble 3 IEM

I bought these used and the blue tips were the ones the previous owner used so I need to buy new ones, or learn how to clean them. Do you know if I can buy these blue tips separately?   Listening to them now for the first time and I have to say they are amazing and put the IE80 to shame...

    Noble 3 IEM

Just bought these off ebay for 270, I'll post my  review after I get them.  I'm looking for the perfect iem for dubstep/edm and so far I've tried: MTPC, Aurisonics Velvets, and the IE80s So far the IE80s are the best and I'm hoping the Noble 3's can beat them.

Can anyone else confirm this? They are even cheaper than the IE80s. Having a hard time deciding which earbud to buy, the prices/models seem arbitrary to me now... I'm looking at Noble 3s, Shure 535s, Flare R2As now, Sony XBA-Z5. Anyone know which one of these would be the smartest buy?

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

I'm happy with the IE80, but I want something objectively better.   I'm looking into the Noble line now, I'm looking at the 3,4 and 5.  Did you find the mids better on the Noble 3 in respect to detail retrieval and clarity? I'm a basshead but I'm also looking for precise details...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

Tried the GR07 Bass Edition, didn't see anything special about them...they sounded identical to my MTCPs I've grown to love the IE80s in the last 4 days I've had them, and I like the Velvets a lot too, but they are freaking 700 dollars...I feel like for that amount of money I should be...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

Been listening to them for a couple of hours...so far from a/bing all I can say for sure is that the bass quantity is pretty much the same (With the velvets on balanced mode and the IE80s on balanced mode. On warm mode the Velvet's have a good amount more compared to IE80's warm mode...

Thanks. I'm just going to stick with the Velvet's for now, I can't afford to cop both. My XB90EX came in today, and it's a very slight downgrade compared to the IE80s or the MTPCs (slightly less detail in the mid and low range), which surprised me because they are only 80 bucks. I don't...

Should I also grab a Shure SE846 or is the Earsonics Velvet the same or better? I see a Shure SE846 for 600 on ebay right now ending in an hour.

Thanks, I will read through that glossary for sure. Meanwhile, I just bought the Earsonics Velvet off an amazon authorized reseller. Should have them in 2 days, I'll let you know what I think of them. Thanks for your help!
