I am on the same boat. Truly loved my ANV3 until one of the buds conked out! But the VE Zen 2.0 has filled the gap, highly recommended :)

@deerspace & @shankar   For me the iPhone 6 is a rather forward sounding source, especially on the vocals. It has great clarity and for my ears, the vocals are elevated above all else. Unfortunately I prefer sound that is more balanced, with better soundstage. But they can drive the monks...

@Billheiser Thanks for so much for the comparison, as I remember those Senns fondly.   What I especially find impressive is what people say about how it sounds straight out of an iphone. I have an iPhone 6 and wish to unify and simplify my source chain stripping away all other daps and amps...

Woo says that for the newly tuned BE3, they "have made the diaphragm to be more flexible and lower a magnetic field in voice coil. The new tuned ones will sound more relax and wider stage etc."   Honestly after the superb air, soundstage, and treble of my defunct ANV3, I find my BE3...

Just wish to resurrect this thread, as I am in the same boat as the thread starter. Really torn between these two headphones. I am all for refinement, but power also, and enjoy practically all music genres. What complicates matters is that I live in the Philippines where both are not available...
