That cma18p looks more like a competition to Hugo2 than to Mojo2.

I've had toslinks of same (not expensive) brand, some did 192 while others didn't.

Owned both the RME ADI2 dac FS and Mojo, the RME was not able to beat mojo's sound, not even the Mojo1. It might matter less if the headphone or amp/speakers are unable to transfer the strong points of mojo. But if the gear translates well then the stage of mojo will be larger and more...

It would be a desastrous design if that would brick the mojo. Lots of bricked mojo's would result of that, I don't recall a case.

730grams is not pocket-ish. Say it's very, very transport friendly. Purse friendly, but that's not me though 😁 But you can get a hugo2 these days 2nd hand for less than half the price of enleum hpa-23rm, about same size, if transportability dictated such a size/weight.

Yeah there are like a ton of setting to fiddle with, good luck! Should work. What confused me initially was the internal high res driver, this would only address headphone socket usages, not the audio usb usage.
