Thank you for the information.  I'll guess I'll get the original ones Shure makes.

    SE535 Replacement Cable Exericse

I use the 535s for exercise and the stock cables that came with them are already starting to crap out.    Can anyone recommend replacement cables that are more sturdy?  I see a lot of feedback regarding improved sound quality vs. the stock phones, however, I've heard nothing about sturdiness...

Custome IEM for Shure 535 - Exercising

I did buy some cheap pairs of IEMs, the CX 680 from Sennheiser plus the MEE electronics exercise phones and they fell out all the time.   I'm really concerned about my hearing so the ideal solution for me would be to wear something that isolates the sound so I can keep the volume low.   If...

Custome IEM for Shure 535 - Exercising

Hello All,   I just purchased some 535's the other day. I've owned a previous pair that crapped out on me last week because they fell out and when I put them back in a bunch of sweat damaged them.    I'm meeting an audiologist tomorrow to get a mold of my ear canal for custom iems. He's...

IEM like SE 535 for running

I own a pair of SE535.  They are the only IEMs I've owned that fit in my ear and stay there when I'm running. I use the medium size foam tips.     I owned a pair of CX 680 by Sennheiser.  I had to return them because I never got a good fit and they would fall out all the time.  I also...

Exercise phones with sound like Koss PortaPro or Sennheiser PX -100 ii

Yeah.  They seem too big for me.  I find the PX-100 too big so I don't I'd do to well with these.

Exercise phones with sound like Koss PortaPro or Sennheiser PX -100 ii

Hello All,   I've traditionally used the Sennheiser PX-100 or PX-100 ii for exercise.  I went through almost three PX-100s, one PX-100ii and one Koss PortaPro.  My PX-100 iis fared worst actually.    So I'm looking for a more rugged pair of phones.  No IEMs for me.  I own the Shure 535s...

    Should I get SE530s?

Sound is awesome, but is it $500 dollars awesome...no. If you can get it for cheaper say 300, then I'd say it's worth it, but not 500...that is a rip off.

    Shure SE530 problem with speech

I just don't get it. The SE530s don't need burn-in but for some reason yours worked after "burning it in". Just goes to show you that scientific explanations don't cut it when it comes to phones. I'm thinking their were some tiny ghosts in your phones and the Slipknot songs exorcised your...

    Save my SE530s

I find the SE530s highlight a lot of the crappiness in poor sound cards/encoded music files. The Cowon D2, from what I've heard is a great MP3 player so I don't think that is at issue. Example: I use my Grado SR80s with my laptop and the music sounds beautiful. However, when I use my...

    Questions about Shure SE110

Seems to me like all of Shure's products are overpriced. I'm an SE530 owner myself. They give you great sound and all but they certainly aren't worth the price tag. IMHO, I would look at other brands. You're going to be paying the same price but getting a much better sound. My q-Jays are...

    SE530 Custom Molds Toronto

Eeep. I don't like the fact that you had to send in your SE530s to them. That's a week without IEMs. Whateve. I'll survive. I think I will follow suit.

    SE530s causing TMJ Pain

    Upgrading (PX100 / KSC75) to in-ear

I actually went to Computer Service Center on College and Spadina and bought a pair of q-Jays. I liked the q-Jays a lot but I wanted better sound isolation and reading the forums I thought that the SE530s were the next best thing since sliced white bread. I couldn't return the q-Jays so I...

    Did I have unrealistic expectations?

I find IEMs do well in the details department but in terms of "blowing you away" they are lacking. When using over the ear headphones or speakers, I love listening to rock, hip-hop, anything loud and aggressive. With IEMs, I'm starting to like quiet Jazz, classical...softer stuff.
