REVIEW: Ostry KC06A - A New Winner
Anyone know if the KC06s sold on GearBest are genuine? The price seems a little too good to be true... Link is below: http://www.gearbest.com/earbud-headphones/pp_383528.html- MechanicalAngel

Help with Sound Signatures
Both look amazing - but they're way out of my price range Do you have any suggestions for something more affordable, maybe <$50? (IEMs are just as good too)- MechanicalAngel

Help with Sound Signatures
Hi all, I haven't dropped by for a couple of years now, so I'm not sure if there's since been an introductory forum that covers how to determine the sound signature of music. I understand what the terms mean (e.g. warm, smooth, treble, bass, neutral), but it's difficult for me to determine...- MechanicalAngel

Which earphones to choose?
I do agree with the fact that there are definitely better headphones in the $50 range, but if anything, I feel like the Pistons are far from sloppy...- MechanicalAngel

Which earphones to choose?
The Soundmagic E10 and the TTPOD1 are great pairs of IEM's, but you'd usually have to order them online- MechanicalAngel

Which earphones to choose?
The build quality of the JVC HA-FX101 did feel a bit underwhelming, but the cable felt pretty solid, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem. They're also cheap enough ($15-20) that if you ever had to replace them, you wouldn't have to spend a fortune doing so. Hope you like 'em if you do decide...- MechanicalAngel

Help with IEM under 50 USD.
I'm definitely not an expert, but as recommended to me by many users, I think the Xiaomi Piston 2 IEM's would serve as a great budget option. They have solid aluminum housings and a cloth-sheathed cord below the y-split, so I'd expect that to be a plus on durability. The Pistons do have...- MechanicalAngel

Which earphones to choose?
I do have experience with the JVC HA-FX101. They have great, punchy bass and are definitely an option if you prefer a pair of IEM's that emphasize that. If you absolutely hate microphonics, I also found that these JVC's had virtually none. They're also relatively cheap and I've seen them in most...- MechanicalAngel

Which earphones to choose?
I'm no expert, but when I was searching for an upgrade to my old pair of earbuds, a lot of users recommended the Xiaomi Piston 2 IEM's to me. They've got really great reviews and cost around 25 bucks. http://www.head-fi.org/t/684159/chinese-asian-brand-info-thread-headphones-iems-amps-dacs- MechanicalAngel
