What is the impact of Bluetooth 5.2? Is it worth specifically finding a source and earphone that support it?

Are there any 2019 TWS with on-board storage? I know the Samsung Icon X from last year had some but those buds didn't have a great reputation.

I just got Beyerdynamic's Blue Byrd. Meets all my requirements, will report back after having used them for a bit.

At this point I'm waiting for the next gen Sennheiser BT headphones. Fingers crossed, we'll get aptX HD and USB C. Surely they're getting close to coming out soon.
