NEW HIFIMAN SUSVARA UNVEILED!
Would you say that they could be fatiguing? Or is it a good combination of detail while not being too harsh?- maynardewm

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
Oh I haven’t tried the hybrid pads but I did order some, I’ll have to give it a try! Removing the mesh does increase the treble but at least for me not in a way that’s too bright.- maynardewm

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
I think I finally found my favorite config for Atrium. Remove the titan mesh entirely, with the Auteur Perforated Lambskin pads. I found the Atrium to have harsh upper mids that were fatiguing at first but removing the stock radial mesh really balanced the frequency response out and now they...- maynardewm

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?
Primare CD32 -> Primare i32 -> Felix Envy -> Meze Elite I’m listening to RHCP Stadium Arcadium! Not something I usually listen to but sometimes I miss LA (Born and raised, and I lived there for 30 years) and feel nostalgic. They sound like palm trees to me, and I really miss palm trees right...- maynardewm

Feliks Audio ENVY
Just bought WE300B and a better power cord. Fingers crossed! At least on low gain the hum is almost inaudible and I can enjoy the amp while troubleshooting.- maynardewm

Feliks Audio ENVY
I figured out a new thing! If I touch the driver tubes with my hand (with a microfiber cloth between my hand and the tube) the humming gets louder. The right driver tube does this significantly more than the left one. Bad driver tube maybe? There is no difference when I touch the power tubes. I...- maynardewm

Feliks Audio ENVY
If you had to choose one, either the driver tubes or the power tubes to potentially help resolve a hum issue, which do you think would be most likely to fix it?- maynardewm

Feliks Audio ENVY
Thank you so much for the detailed response! I currently don’t have any extra tubes that would work with the amp. Although for the price, I would expect that the included tubes would at least work fine and that tube rolling wouldn’t be a requirement. I have contacted the store I purchased the...- maynardewm

Oh what tubes did you go with? Maybe I can give them a try. Was it the Elrogs that fixed your issue?- maynardewm

Feliks Audio ENVY
Hi everyone, I’m now an owner of a Feliks Envy Performance! Woo 😊 I’m unfortunately having an issue though with hum. I have a pair of ZMF Atrium headphones which have an impedance of 300 ohms, so it looks like medium gain is recommended. However, on medium gain I have a low 60hz hum that is...- maynardewm

My First High End IEM - 64 Audio U12t
Ahh… I remember reading this review (Day 1) a few weeks ago thinking “I’d be willing to be he just hasn’t found the right ear tips yet” especially since this was your first experience with IEMs. They just have a learning curve compared to headphones. It takes me a good week or so to “figure out”...- maynardewm

Is the 64audio u12t a good upgrade from the u4s?
Hi! Resurrecting a thread from about 6 months ago but I can contribute to this discussion because I have both the U4S and the U12T. They are both similar. The U12T is more detailed, and has a wider sound stage. I wouldn't say it's a significant difference, but it's definitely there. I actually...- maynardewm
