Diodes in regulated PSU...
I'm using the BYV27's, but not with any snubber since I don't know how to calculate an RC-link.- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
The caps are: 2x2200uF Panasonic FC + 2x2200uF Vishay BC. Diodes are BYV27-150 soft recovery incl those protecting the LM317T. Fuse is 800mA slowblow. Electrolytes decoupled by one 0,22uF and one 0,1Uf for each cap except for the 10uF cap that's deoupled by a single 0,1uF. Decoupling and...- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
Done with it now except for casing. Bottom view: Side view: Other side, you can see the Supra LoRad 3x2,5 mainschord. Simple setup so I can listen, this is clearly one of the greatest improvements since I started modifying the Btech- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
Quick question, since there's no room in the box I bought anyway...would it be beneficial to put 2 Panasonic FC 470uF after the Panasonic FC 2200uF? Or would it be better to add two of my other low ESR 2200uF? Also I've heard a million times about the benefits of putting 0,1uF Wima's over the...- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
The resistor values seems to up the wall, I used an online calculator at : http://www.unisonus.com/projects/sim_supply.htm the values I got from that might not work in this circuit. Yes they will, nothing wrong with it, just me being stupid. R1 = 220ohm, R2 = 3Kohm gives 18,3V....I've...- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
Will this work? R1 = 220ohm, R2 = 2.2Kohm for +16Vdc Can I use MKT's for C-in and C-out , and an electrolytic for C-adj? What size does the resistors have to be? I've got 1/4W, 1W and 3W 1% metalfilm- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
I have now soldered the transformer, diodes(UF4007) and 2 Panasonic FC 2200uF. Measured Voltage on the last cap(before I placed the bleeder that's in the picture), and I got +24Vdc without load. As you can see I haven't cut off the leads yet, wanted to test it first.- Mayday

error401: Thank, I'll look at that when my head isn't full of cotton due to a nasty flue. Still I've actually started soldering it today.- Mayday

Stabilized PSU for B-Tech BT928
I think I've done all that I can on the BT928 itself, so now I'm building a stabilized PSU for it. Actually I'm thinking of giving the BT928 a bit more than 15V, maybe around 16-20V. Anyways this is what I've collected so far. Transformer 2x15V~ 20VA LM317T regulator Diodes: 1N4007...- Mayday

Substitute for MUR860 diodes?
I have a little project going on the side that requires 32 pcs of MUR860 diodes, however I can't seem to find any here in Sweden... Does anyone know a good substitue for these that will fit a PCB made for MUR860's. Any help appreciated! /Mayday- Mayday
