I'm giving this review because these Beyerdynamics are the first serious headphones I've ever owned (Most of my older headphones consist of cheap dollar store iem's and a Beats Studio). Yes, they are a huge jump from my previously owned "headphones". The Dt770's have a phenomenal build quality. The pads are comfortable, the materials feel nice and sturdy, and they fit nice and tightly around your ears. The sound is clear and accurate, with nice imaging and tight bass.
