    Klipsch S4 Reference: Opinions/Reviews ?

absolutely.  looks cheaper than ordering from company website.  I did order from the Phonak Audeo website for sake of its 30 day money back guarantee.

    Klipsch S4 Reference: Opinions/Reviews ?

Quote: I owned the original S4s for several years, mainly for gym or commuting use.  It had a lot of bass, a large soundstage, and was not harsh on treble.  It was perfect for the gym being light-weight, easy to fit, but the cord was annoying, slipping off often.  You may find the cord...

    Looking for a warm sound - IE60? PFE 012?

Quote:   Hmm.  I had figured the IE8 or 80 would be more "fun sounding" based on its bass heavy signature.     I got the PFE 012 after reading Swimsonny's reviews.  It is amazingly comfortable, light-weight, simple to place.  I find the cord quality enough, certainly a step up...

    Looking for a warm sound - IE60? PFE 012?

Quote:   that's good to hear about the PFE012.  I worry sometimes "clarity" on threads means piercing highs.  I think i am sensitive to treble b/c I don't think it's too commonly said with SE125.  Maybe mids get too busy.

    Looking for a warm sound - IE60? PFE 012?

Source: sansa zip clip   Music:  varied.  fleet foxes, nicolas jaar, arcade fire, of monsters and men, the weeknd, gotye, tool, some rap for working out.  Some of this may have bright sounds but are high quality FLAC or 320 kbps files.   Preference: WARM sound signature with good bass...

    Sennheiser IE60 Review

Is the IE 60 non-fatiguing?  smooth on high ends?  Sounds like veryone loves the bass on these.    I think this may be my upgrade from the klipsch reference S4.  I'm still trying to "burn in" the harsh treble and sibilance.    Unless my source - sansa zip clip is to blame, i think I...

I'm learning I am sensitive to treble and sibilance.  I find it depends what I"m listening to, but I do get high quality MP3 or FLAC.     My klipsch S4s died after 3 years and I guess they must have been pretty burned in because I didn't have problems with these at all.     I tried the...

(Coming Soon!) Klipsch Reference S4 IEMs

I do think the new copper cord has affected the S4 in the Reference S4 - it is really bright compared to what I remember from the S4, which died on me 2-3 months ago. Anyone else appreciate this?  I owned the S4 for a few years so I wonder if it was just really burned in.     Any...

    Klipsch Reference S4 (NEW)

My old S4 finally died so I picked up the new Reference S4 and I feel it's very sibilant, harsh with treble even with EQ on the Sansa Zip.   Anyone notice this or did I just have a very "burned in" (if you believe in it) old S4 pair?

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: NEW Nuforce uDAC-2 with 24/96 - USB DAC AMP with line out and S/PDIF out

I went in audio-midi setup on my imac G5 and did the settings as demonstrated on the first page.   but, im still able to control volume using itunes and the equalizer changes the sound.  i didn't think this was possible since i thought i was bypassing this with the udac2.     do i have...

    sibilance HD600

wow, now i'm confused.  ive been reading the 600 is more "laid-back" than the 595, but here I see some calling the 600 brighter due to this 3-5 kHz spike.   i have the 595 and find for rock heavy on sounds in the mids that this 595 remains too bright for me.  i find the klipsch S4...

    HD 600 vs HD 650

I have the HD 595 now and am finding it too bright and forward for some rock tracks.  Is the HD 600 similar?     If the "muddier" 650 means less forward, and has more bass, I"m wondering if this is more for me.  However, reading Headphoneaddict's reviews of HD600 and ability of UDAC2 to push...
