REVIEW: Head-direct.com HiFiMan EF2 tube Hybrid Amp with USB DAC

So I found out that one of my stock tubes were broken and now I am running my Hifiman without tubes. I felt the stock tubes were too strong on the highs and want a more warmer sound. What tubes do you guys recommend me in getting? Or should I just save some money and run it without tubes? It...

    Best Headphones for Under $300

Since it sounds like this will be your first headphone, how about buying the audio's ath-m50. I think it's a really good entry point judging by the amount of people who love it (I never had the headphones). From there, you can progress to buying used headphones such as Denon D2000 or 5000 and...

Input from the best of the best PLEASE! AH-D7000. If anyone finds this thread helpful PLEASE thumbs up and i will leave my input on my purchase after i receieved the headphone!

U might also want to check out the JVC ha-dx 1000. I talked to a guy who owns the headphones and he swears nothing beats the JVC...

    MDR-Z1000 new Sony flagship headphones

Quote:   Really? I have one and I think it sounds really balanced to a point that the music seems to sound a bit too flat (a little bit extra on the mid-bass). Albeit, it also has to do with the small soundstage but I think the headphones are good for monitor use as the sticker says. I...

    Calling all Sony MDR-Z1000 owners.

I agree with jorzef. It is very comfortable, well-built and balanced. The only problem I feel is that it has a small soundstage and not very dynamic. It is a superb monitor headphones as it advise. But as for listening pleasure, it comes nowhere near my markl-mod d5000. Even though it is a...

    MDR-Z1000 new Sony flagship headphones

Hey guys, Im not a very analytical audiophile or a sound engineer but this is what I think.   my very brief impression on the z1000 comparing to the audio technica ath-es10 and the denon d5000s (which are the headphones I have):   es10 = icy sound that makes me feel like you are...
