    The Beyerdynamic DT880 Discussion thread

Again, thank you.   I seems like the big question is whether there ever been instances of Beyer not hot-stamping their Custom 600 Ohm versions...

Yup.  Already crossed my mind.  I have no clue where my multi-meter went thought, so I need to buy a new one.  In the meantime, I was hoping for verdict on the information that I do have.

Thanks for the picture, so that part appears to not be entirely false...though lack of correct sticker still seems very un-German-like to me LOL  Any input jack stamping?   I do own DT990-250 (as well as DT1350), but I tossed that box a decade ago plus they are in a different state right...

The AKG K7XX Massdrop First Edition Thread

Personally I remember at least 4 in 2015 (in addition to the 1st 2 in 2014).  Definitely way more than 2 regardless.  I would not worry about waiting as this appears to be a huge cash cow for both parties.

So I have a bit of situation I hope ya'll help with...I purchased DT880 600 Ohm Manufaktur through MassDrop, but not convinced it is the correct version. While the top of the box has "600 Ohm" checked, the bottom of the box indicated 250 Ohm and the headphone jack is not hot-stamped with "600"...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

Might have to check it out.  I have been using mine with jetAudio player on my phone and tablet and loving it.  Thus far these have been an end-game IEM for me.  I have not even thought about getting another high end set since buying these last year.

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Fan-freaking-tastic chapter.  That needs to be a sticky post or required reading for new members.  For a while my rabbit hole was the same at Jason's (along with photography equipment) though I cannot claim to have owned nearly the same caliber of cars.  And since waking up from that I could...

Schiit Fire and Save Matches! Bifrost Multibit is Here.

Looks like I better educate myself :)  Thanks for the link.     Please do not take this the wrong way, but I am extremely amused that after disclaiming I have mere mortal hearing, a low end gear set up and no format loyalty...the reply I get is from someone who exclusive listens to the...

Schiit Fire and Save Matches! Bifrost Multibit is Here.

I have read through the thread, but still do not have any idea as to the practical difference between the two Bifrost models (or why they are more awesome than prior generation).  I greatly appreciate the detailed technical information provided and applaud people's ability to comprehend it...but...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

No idea.  Never shipped anything to Canadia, but cannot imagine it would be THAT expensive.  If you don't care for the box, the tips easily fit inside a regular envelope.  If you want to PM me your info I will look into it over the weekend.   P.S. To Big Brother, hopefully I am not breaking...

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

So I tried out the JVC Spiral Dot tips and they did not help the comfort or sound for me.  Biggest culprit I assume is sizing; I bought Mediums and probably need Large.   Is anyone interested since I have no use for them?  There were 6 to the packages and I A/B-ed 2 of them for an hour or so...

Out of curiosity, compared to what other IEMs did the IE80 sounded veiled?

Are you guys talking about these?  Been contemplating playing around with tips on mine.   http://www.amazon.com/VICTOR-EP-FX9M-B-Spiral-Earpiece-Size/dp/B00JSLXNOC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1442001923&sr=8-2&keywords=jvc+spiral+dot+tips
