I have GR07 mkII's and the VSD1's compare well with them, considering their $40 price tag.   I couldn't be happier to own these as an alternate pair for exercises and traveling (also while my GR07's are being repaired!).   Yes they have nearly the same exact sound signature. Very similar.

Where did the VSonic VC02 go? I literally can't find it on the page!

Reviews should be ignored until GR07's have been burned in for at least 300 hrs.    Mine sounded like crap right out of the box, but after 300 hrs... woo wee.
