Out of curiosity, how much burn in time did you give the unit before you reached that conclusion? I know that my M11 sounded much better after about 48 hours of run time and even better after about 96…

From the video, he was loading the Apple music app and since the M23 isn't connected via cellular, he may have been piggybacking a wifi connection (so latency could be a factor). Do keep in mind that Apple doesn't really care/focus on DAP manufacturers - they focus on the 99% of the devices that are iOS devices and Android phones... I think it would be a safe bet to say that Apple will not be rushing a fix for this in the near future and "maybe" the next app update will...

It was about the same for me. I was asking because it hung on my M6 and had to reboot and reinitiate. Updates on both devices worked well and the Apple app works without issues.

OK - reboot and restart the upgrade worked. 45 min of play and no issues to report.
