Thats not entirely true. The amp is always in use, but the headphone output uses a sc volume control, which lowers the amplification. Putting a good volume control to 0db, or zero attenuation, is basically the same as a line out. I do not know if the volume control on a pad is ok, but on my old...

Got the replacements, and, what an adorable pair of headphones these are.

Ive got myself a pair of the T50p, and they sounded very pleasing to me. Unfortunately, the left channel suddenly lost all bass frequencies, so im having them replaced. But I'm really interested in why this can happen? Any ideas? Lasse
