Seen a few M50s, Grados, shures, and hd 25 1 IIs around Vancouver. 

Has anyone else watched heaven's memo pad? I started it the other day, seems interesting. 

They may not be that great but for $150 I still love mine to deaf. I have many other pairs of headphones but the M50s still receive the most head time. They are also reliable as all living heck. Used them in the rain, wind, hot, cold, and just throw them around like nothing. Fantastic piece of kit.

I think it's a mix of both. I don't think burn in is necessarily caused by using your headphones over time but that it is more of a mental occurrence as your brain gets used to a new pair of headphones/speakers.  However the ear pieces also tend to burn to the shape of your head and that...
