I love AKG 501's treble, detail and very delicate, especially strings instrumental, like this song: With my reference, X2 (after burn-in or brand burn, depends on you) is awesome HP, but it lacks detail and does seem a lite harsh treble to be come perfect for me.- kurenai123

I hope so, :D It happen when i listen female vocals, with lyrics has a lot "s", like this: On my AKG K500 (a different name of K501, i think) it is "sss", but on X2 it's "sssssshhhhhhh" . Do you hear/feel that?- kurenai123

I have just got x2 a few days ago, pair with Audinst mx1 (Opa: AD8620 and lme49860). I listern vocal so much, but X2 is very sibilant, hate that.- kurenai123
