For sale is a very gently used Focal Stellia. Bought soon after introduction, but never used much due to a variety of reasons (not because I didn't like them, they are as spectacular as you've heard). I would estimate they have 30hrs of use on them, so they are not even fully broken in. Full...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

am i the only one who LOVES the fit and feel of these cans? i love how surgical and precise it fits and presses around the ear. i find for traveling and wearing around in public, the tight fit gives me extra confidence that they will stay in place and not fall off. they fit like a bespoke...

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

pls don’t take my reply as disrespect...... but the Sony Z1R is one of the most disappointing headphones i’ve ever listened to. a tad worse than the Audeze EL-8. both companies i respect but i felt really fell short with those offerings.

Focal Elegia - what do you think?

man these Elegia's are such a fun listen. so crisp and clean. very Clear-esque, yet with the warmth tuned up a bit due to the closed-back design. listening to Daft Punk thru a Oppo HA-1 and it is SO punchy and dynamic. the energy bouncing off the thick and firm earpads is intoxicating. it...

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

(test music: R+R=NOW - "Collagically Speaking" via Tidal Masters) the Utopia, to me, sounds noticeably better than the Stellia. and perhaps should for its price premium. on the Utopia, everything seems more relaxed and it is easier to play louder. you know how on some headphones, you want...

Focal Elegia - what do you think?

goodness i love the bass on the Elegia. better than the Stellia, Clear, and Utopia. my go-to Focal for hip-hop and R&B. listening to Q-Tip’s amazing production on ATCQ’s final album - “We Got it from Here, Thank You For Your Service”... :L3000:

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

that's funny.... i guess there's no right or wrong when it comes to aesthetics as it's purely subjective. but i just can't image anyone seeing/holding these in person and thinking they're ugly. they are so gorgeous to me. and the quality of the leather seems better than that on the Utopia...

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

well after receiving my Stellia's, i have officially drunk the Focal kool-aid and i simply have no desire for any other brand of headphone. my LCD-4 will soon be for sale, along with the Oppo. and i am done demo'ing the likes of HiFiMan, Denon, Sennheiser, Abyss, or anything else. the Stellia...

Focal Elegia - what do you think?

long time Utopia owner/lover. my Elegia came this past weekend and they sound better every day as they burn in and my ear-brain gets used to them. i think they are gorgeous. the black/silver is just stunning. my Stellia's come this weekend coming up so i'll soon be able to chime in on...

i get this too. a little static when adjusting volume. so faint it doesn't bother me, so i'm not going to pursue fixing it.

    Audeze LCD-4

you should definitely be glad you don't own a Sony Z1R and it has nothing to do with resale value. has everything to do with the fact that it actually sucks worse than what Tyll described. by far the worst performance:cost ratio i've ever experienced. not just for headphones but for consumer...
