It only happens when the bass hits deeply and only in the right cup but it sounds like something is loose inside the cup. The sound isn't affected at all so I don't think the cup isn't broken. Anyways, would anyone recommend opening up the dt-770s or should I just live with it?

Welcome, I cant give any good advice as Im new as well, but I am in a similar situation. Basically, expect to spend alot more than that once you factor in a dac/amp. Ill let someone else clue you in on that though.
