Amp for ATH-A700?
Hello, I purchased an ATH-A700 and it should be arriving shortly. I plan to use it with my desktop computer. Do you think that an amp would be required or would be worth the cost for them?- Jforsyth89

Rattling sound when listening to music
Hello, I purchased a pair of DT770s last year around this time, and I've loved them. But a problem has recently sprung up. It's kind of hard for me to describe, but I can hear an underlying rattling sound when listening to music. It creates a sort of static-like noise that distorts the music...- Jforsyth89

Can you hear the high-pitched whine of a TV?
Uhh...I'm only 18 and I have never noticed it. I'm going to listen for it, but I never realized TVs made this kind of sound.- Jforsyth89

Ripping a CD: Head-fi Style!
I ripped a cd into .WAV files and I can't tell the difference between the CD and playing from my computer. Is there any reason I should want to use FLAC over .WAV?- Jforsyth89

Ripping a CD: Head-fi Style!
I have a few CDS that I want to rip onto my CD in the best sound quality possible. The problem is I don't know where to begin, and don't really know what I'm doing. Does anyone have suggestions for good software, file formats, and ways to rip a CD so that I keep the sound quality intact?- Jforsyth89

Question for those in Boston who use the "T"...
Yeah I would agree, however you never no how it can change on a day to day basis. Have you considered parking along Comm. Ave., and taking the train a few stops down from there? There is a stop on Newbury street at Arlington, Dartmouth, and Mass, Ave. Or you could just park at the...- Jforsyth89
