Where's the best/cheapest place to order cd3k's from?

The CD3k's were one of the phones I was thinking about. But I remember hearing about somebody's cans breaking, and sony refusing to help them, or something like that. Are they prone to breakage? For the one who asked, I've got a misterx built maxed pimeta amp.

I bought the 250-80's back before I upgraded my source and amp, so now I want to upgrade the phones. I really like the sound (the emphasis on midrange and bass), but I'm looking for upgraded sound quality. Should I just go for the dt250-250's, or a different pair of beyer cans, or a some...

Thanks for the input. Judging from the replies, it sounds like there is a step up in quality between the 80/250 ohm versions, so I'm gonna order the 250 and sell whichever I don't want. Unless you guys have other suggestions for headphones for those who like the beyer sound.
