What's the best upgrade for the ne7's? I'm also ideally looking to spend less than $70ish.

theres also more you can do with that mic cord button... pressing it twice skips to the next song, three times it goes back to the previous, and 4 times it starts over? I don't remember, but there are 4 different functions when used with an ipod/iphone for music playback.

Hi, so from what I've read, a lot of people recommend getting the shure e2c tips as replacements for the nuforce stock ones. Where could I go about purchasing these? I found some on ebay, but $17? What about these? Are they legitimate or not? 9 PAIR Shure earbud tips for Ec2, SCL2, Earbuds...

Most poeople here would actually prefer the RX700 to the RX900... did you ever search for comparisons/discussions of the two?

hmm may as well bump this... ive seen nothing but ibuds here at college, with the occasional sony noise-cancelling or bose headphones.

hey thanks for the mods... i didnt have any foam lying around, but i tried some packaging paper (the type that comes in shoe boxes) and it works great still.

i ordered mine from VM Innovations on ebay and got them in today... I have to say that they sound incredible. Looks like I made a great decision.

Other closed headphones that have been highly appraised are the JVC RX700 (~$35) and the JVC RX900 (~$50). From what I've read, people like the 700s more than the 900s, but both are said to be great value headphones.

Sennheiser MX760... they can be bought on ebay for $18-19 shipped and they're incredible. The dealer is legit.
