    Repairing Denon AH-C350

Well I got them apart. Pretty much came apart how I thought they did, just had to fight the sticky glue residue was all. Now that I have it open, it looks like the connection points are fine, so not as easy as I hoped. So my only other guess for intermittent sound is a bad/frayed cable...

    Repairing Denon AH-C350

Hello, So someone I know has a pair of AH-C350's. He bought another pair of Denons to replace these. Basically I'm seeing if I can fix them and maybe even have them (free stuff, woot!). Basically the one ear is out. Wiggling the cord you can get it to work again. So I'm guessing the wire...

"Audiophile" listening vs. "fun" listening (from the "Beats" thread)

So if I listen to my music through an amp than that means I'm trying to be "analytical" and not having "fun" with the music anymore? Because, again, I disagree with that. I'm really struggling to understand what you mean by fun and analytical and how they are defined. The examples I've seen...

"Audiophile" listening vs. "fun" listening (from the "Beats" thread)

I don't agree with the analysis of the two types at all really. The whole reason I go to a concert is because I want to see the best guitar (or whatever) players live. Thats what I find "fun" about it. If they stink than the music is ruined for me and regardless of the "atmosphere" or whatever...

    “Beats by Dr. Dre”

Are there people that really need a more in depth review on these? Are their people that can't test these at there local Best Buy still? I only put my comments out there because I, for whatever reason, felt a need to get a thought from my brain to...well a forum I guess. I don't honestly expect...

    “Beats by Dr. Dre”

I didn't bother reading all the posts in this thread. I just felt inclined to comment after my experience with the Beats. I was at a local Best Buy and decided to give them a listen. Putting aside the fact that I find them hideous, I'll only comment on sound quality. First off, the displays at...

Newbie question on IEM for classical music listening

I'm also new to IEM's, so I'm not going to pretend to be the most knowledgable person to try and answer your question. Never the less, I'll attempt to help a bit. The UE Super.fi 5 Pros are a dual balanced armatures design. These configurations tend to be more analytical (bright?) and lack bass...
