Don't know much about either of these . Mazda dealers are 2 hours away , so don't see many here. What model car ? I like the look of it.- Iowan

Kind offer , thank you. I'll do some research on the ones you like . I've started kicking tires a little early on this , as I've been interested in syn since Jason's chapter on it. A better DAC for my two channel system, and possibly a sub(s) as well, are ahead of home theater. I'm also...- Iowan

Thanks for the help ! I found an old sheet listing 32hz , sensitivity 103 . Not sure what sub should be paired with these, but open to trying one.- Iowan

I'm hoping it will be good enough for tv -movies. I had used an audio control eq back then. I would definitely use eq again.- Iowan

these speakers are pretty efficient . Should be good with Kraken . I could shake the house with 4 of them connected to my old adcom mono amps. I'm over that these days. My hearing is pretty good .I'd like to keep it that way.- Iowan

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I've always watched tv or movies with my 2 channel gear. I don't have any home theater experience. The Kraken -Syn is probably what I will try, but I have a question. I have 5 (really 8 total) cerwin vega (15 in woofers) in storage. Are these speakers too much for the center and surround...- Iowan

My contribution to bike pictures. My current ones are mostly dirt bikes. I rode my 1973 sort of a harley x90 (Italian) to an area bike night. and a Honda 350 that I've had since I was 16.- Iowan

You have a pretty nice system now, but hard to see how you'd go wrong with any of those. I'm pretty attached to some of my old gear as well, but I know it probably won't keep going forever. I do like my tyrs and urd , they have improved my system a lot. A better DAC is my current "want". When...- Iowan
