Glad to hear that this is normal. I thought mine was a fake DX90.   I bought a China-made compatible battery (brand: SCUD). Can't identify what's the differences in battery on sound.

Does anyone has difficulty in removing the battery cover?

I played Spotify on my Sonos and they sounded good to my ears.
