Unable to resume suspended process
Update, support advised to go to Color Management>Advanced>Device profile to sRGB IEC61966 2.1, and default to the rest as well. Not sure how, but it fixed the problem.- hifinoob005

Unable to resume suspended process
Did a clean boot but waves is still not starting. Since it was working before the update with other services, I don't think they were causing the issue, i.e a conflict. Also updated the 2nd os to the latest 21H1 / 19043.1023, same issue, Waves dissapeared after 2004.- hifinoob005

Unable to resume suspended process
Hello, I'm unable to resume a suspended process. When I try with resource monitor, process hacker/explorer, it says Access denied. Process is Waves NX. After the update the default audio devices were mixed up. Other Waves NX processes work, and the software itself works with audio/video players...- hifinoob005

Waves NX buzzing
Made some progress. Works when the Xonar is set to 2 or 8 speakers. On 4 or 6 it still has the same issue.- hifinoob005

Headphones for voice recommendation
Between the 240, K240 MKII, K701 and 702, what would be the best? The 701/702 have better ventilation, but what about audio vs. the 240's?- hifinoob005

Waves NX buzzing
Reinstalled Chord Mojo USB drivers. It works fine with Waves. It's only the Xonar that has the issue. Also not getting any info on this page of the Waves properties, but don't remember if there was anything there originally.- hifinoob005

Headphones for voice recommendation
There are a few other considerations. I was trying to avoid adding any amps. Another one is comfort, as in the pads should be over 28mm at the back of the ear. And not made of velour, which draw sweat. If they are, must be easily removed for cleaning. So replaceable pads. I've only had...- hifinoob005

Waves NX buzzing
I don't see how that is going to fix it. The issue is that Waves will only work with the Sabrent dongle. Anyway I uninstalled everything that could be a problem. But those don't cause any issues on the 2nd os. Sabrent selected as default. Xonar selected in Waves. Same issue. Anyone have any...- hifinoob005

Waves NX buzzing
Updated other 2nd OS, the issue is not there. So I don't think it has anything to to with windows updates. Uninstalled and reinstalled Xonar drivers. Plugged the dongle back in, disabled it, tried everything I could think of. Another time had a similar issue where I installed a usb amp/dac and...- hifinoob005

I uninstalled them, but they were there before. The issue is because of that USB dongle, but how do I correct it?- hifinoob005

Waves NX buzzing
Hello, I'm having some issues with Waves NX. Windows 10 Pro x64 1909, Xonar DGX. A few days ago I tested a Sabrent USB audio adapter dongle. Since then when Waves NX is used the sound is loudly distorted. This sound is what happened when Waves NX was turned off from the software itself. When...- hifinoob005

Headphones for voice recommendation
Yes but those are closed, I'm looking for open. In the meantime I got Philips SHP9500 because it's flat frequency response with no dips in 4-6Khz. These are less clear/muddled with more soundstage. Next would be some AKG, but I don't know if going by frequency response is necessarily the way to...- hifinoob005

Philips SHP9500 Discussion Thread
Didn't have a chance to go through the thread, I'm looking for some pads for this model. Must not be velour or anything to absorb moisture. Thickness at least 25mm. Got the Brainwavz perforated but they get warm. I have some Sennheiser which pads are a thin plastic film type. Don't get warm. Is...- hifinoob005

Headphones for voice recommendation
To be honest I'm surprised I can't get a recommendation for headphones that will improve on what a pair of Jabra's can do. As I said in the beginning, my Ultrasone provide an improvement in the 3-5Khz region. I have to wear them 8 hours a day, I'm avoiding IEM's for a reason. They have to be...- hifinoob005
