What make me hesitate is that the QC3 is really comfy to me. I have a pair of ethymotic ER-6, they sound great but they are so uncomfortable. I need to see an audiologist to try to mold them in custom made ear bud. That may help (?).

I got the bose QC3 on hand. These headphones are pricey (350$), boomy and slightly overdone in the midrange. Other than that, the QC3 are well done. They are small, really comfy (you can wear it for hours), and the noise canceling works pretty well. Does anyone tried alternatives to the QC3...
