JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
I've bought a watch from SeiyaJapan before, he's legit. Idk about getting an IEM through him but watches are A-OK for sure. edit: here's at least one early impression and review, but in Japanese http://av.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20121018_566904.html...- hauton

JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
I wonder if these might make it to the North American market. The HA-FXT90 are available in Canada, but AFAIK the more recent HA-FXD80 and the rest of that series never arrived. Neither were ever available in the US either. Either way, I'm holding off for more impressions but if...- hauton

JVC HA-FXZ 100/200
Really curious how these will compare to the FXT90s I mean, I got the FXTs for $90, so I don't think they are really comparable but I'm intrigued by the 3-driver system if that means more mid/upper bass oomph and less shrill treble- hauton

JVC HA-FXT90 Thread
My smartphone is an HTC One X, the North American version with LTE and the dual-core Snapdragon S4. How would I determine what the impedance of my source is? I'm starting to notice a bit of driver flex on the left side as well as it generally not feeling as comfortable - the right is perfect...- hauton

JVC HA-FXT90 Thread
Bit the bullet on a pair of JVC HA-FXT90s to replace my dead but not forgotten Panasonic RP-HJE900s. Before those, I had some Etymotics that died far too quickly and were rather quite forgettable (ER6s I believe). Disclaimers: I am probably still giddy over the new toy (I have been...- hauton

Tokyo Fujiya Avic Headphone festival Spring 2012 meet impressions
Sorry to thread jack, but I was wondering if any Japanese head-fiers might be willing to help me out. There's some only in Japan cables I'm looking to get forwarded to Canada. If you are willing, please give me a PM. Thanks and sorry again for the derail- hauton

HJE900 cable replacements - are Sleek Audio cables still useless?
Ugh, that's really too bad. Are there any alternatives out there? I wonder if it's possible to get a custom-make job with those plugs.- hauton

HJE900 cable replacements - are Sleek Audio cables still useless?
My original HJE900s are dying on the right side, was looking to replace but apparently the selection is slim pickings... Anyone know if Sleek Audio's cables have improved from the horror stories I've heard? Or other alternatives that for the HJE plugs?- hauton

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Looking at a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-AD400s for approximately $60USD, but I'm worried about the lack of bass that I've heard is endemic to the entire Air Dynamic series. Anyone care to comment? How do they stack up to similar models like the AD300/500/700? What I'm looking for is a pair...- hauton

Headphone wires - that "bunching" effect and ways to prevent/reverse?
I was wondering if this is an annoyance for others. All my headphones after a few months of use exhibit this tendency to start magnetically sticking together - forming loops or twists and making it easy to get tangled. I've now got myself a pair of headphones that only go up one side (the...- hauton

New Headphones...
Bose look pretty spiffy but I gave them a whirl at my local Futureshop and they're laughably bad. Several times more expensive than my K81s and slightly worse.- hauton
