So I also found some 650's for ~350 new. So I guess that's a contender as well. I'm partial to the way Sennheisers sound and feel. Ive had the 570's for so long I'm really in love with them haha. I definitely want to try some of the others, but will for sure be getting a pair of Senn's.

The Zune 8 definitely plays gapless audio. Im listening to mine now and everything works. You may be using EAC for ripping, but is it set up right? A lot of other MP3 players seem to play gapless but they just do an end to end fade between tracks so maybe your songs got ripped with a gap? Just...

Sorry for not providing a budget. Probably up to $200 or so, maybe a bit more. I don't toss and turn too much. I think the most I roll is from one side to the other so I don't think I would trash the cord or plug.
