Anyone has noticed the device gets really warm after a few hours of use on High gain. I tried combating this by switching to Low gain, which might have helped but the device gets warm regardless.

This looks quite good. I demoed the original version and i liked it. Hopefully this model is even better.

I would guess that an upgrade to the B2D (which I haven't heard) is the Variations, and those are very Harman tuned. I own the monarchs and while they are like S tier for their midrange they do lack some punch in the bass, can't really comment on the treble.
