I have some tracks that have extremely low frequency melodies that I had only heard through floor standing speakers and separate subs. I was not able to hear it through headphones until I got the NHs.

Well...knowing not a whole lot about tubes..I have "rolled" the tubes in the Nobsound 08-SE headphone amp. I replaced them with JAN 6688s from Sept 1970.  With only a 10 minute warm up, the soundstage is even wider and sound even richer. Also, I had to cut the volume by half what I was listening...

Fair enough.  I just played Swingle Singers III Minuetta Alllegretto and sense no drop in mid-Trebble. It is probably there, but I don't sense any loss in melody and this covers most of the range that exists in human voice from 500 hz to 18 khz. I wish we could share music files. :(
