Ah, wifi and LDAC has been a known issue, I rarely do streaming, someone needs to try it, hehe. I do notice the previous firmware has improved LDAC connection with WF-xm5 in busy environment. Any further improvement from this firmware is a big welcome.

I have only tried the language setting with ZM2, the soundstage of Japanese is lovely, especially the height, but the vocal sound saturated, I end up sticking back to English.

Did you use the Sony Headphone app for the Sony headphones? cos there is a volume control in the Sony headphone app too.

Im not sure if this will work, there is a setting inside developer option to enable the disable absolute volume for bluetooth. Im only using Sony Music app at the moment, so can't try it yet. Then u can check to see if the chain of the main and media volume is separated like before. O, ya...

I think the stiffness of BSEP cable can be a good thing too. My Asuha series goes around my ears without touching it. It makes wearing Z1r like wearing TWS and it's light weight, so not an issue for me.

Nope, Power + Vol+ and play do not work too. I even try power + Vol- and play. Think Sony has lock it this time.
