Oh I didn't mean that you were reading the numbers wrong, I just meant that that particular attempt at EQ didn't necessarily result in good sound, so don't look too deeply into it. I only wanted to post the EQ numbers to show the area that I thought was resulting in a 'hollow' sound.

Don't read too much into the EQ numbers. I kinda suck at it still. But at least around 1k I feel like it needed a significant boost to sound 'normal' to my ears. The foam suggestion sound great. I will try it. I do have some little pieces I got for another purpose. 'Earbuds DIY metal...
