^ If you have the money, definitely grab a pair. After I heard the 007s, I wasn't too excited about the 009s - the 007s were more technical then orthos, but really not "king" of headphones overall. I could put down the 007s after an hour or a few songs and be much more than content moving on...

A go-to portable IEM is very important to me. I've been looking for an IEM that I can grab over my customs when I need the isolation (quite frequently). I own the Monster Turbines(regular) + MDs. I've been looking to try out the COPPERS because I would prefer a more neutral sound than the MDs...

hey mate, I recommend picking up a used pair of Ultrasone edition 8s (these look legit imo). They are closed can design unlike the ones you mention which are open design..... these leak music through and through. There's pretty much no way to listen to these portably. The ED8s might run 1k-1.2k...

Hm, there seems to be a lot to consider. Thanks Currawong, I'll try the new Weiss DAC202 for now since I've heard some good reviews about it! As for headphones, I haven't auditioned any of the latest generation (LCD2, HE6) so will definitely pick one up for some listening. More of a speaker...
