Cool man. Yeah, I'm just a lowly console player. I know almost nothing about gaming PCs. Honestly, they are pretty intimidating. Plug and play just seemed like the way to go for me. However, I can appreciate the customization advantages of building a gaming rig.- elektrobank55

The Witcher 3 is awesome! I was really enjoying it until I had to take a break to play Fallout 4 (couldn't resist), but I'm already looking forward to going back to Witcher 3 in the near future. Prior to Witcher I really enjoyed Bloodborne. I beat every boss except Ebrietas, Gehrman and Moon...- elektrobank55

Fallout 4.
I'm about 15-20 hours in, and I've really been enjoying F4, although I'm admittedly a Bethesda fanboy. I loved Oblivion and Skyrim. I played through F3 at least twice and FNV one and a half times. Even though Bethesda's engine is clearly dated, they made some definite gameplay improvements...- elektrobank55

Great review @twister6. I just got my Custom Street headphones this week and have been enjoying them so far. I agree with most of your points. This is my first $100+ pair of on-ear headphones. My normal go-to has been the ATH M50 (me and everyone else, right?). However, the over-ear design isn't...- elektrobank55

Review by 'elektrobank55' on item 'beyerdynamic DTX 350 p Portable Headphones'
UPDATE - BUYER BEWARE: I've owned these headphones for about seven months, and the headband just snapped FOR THE SECOND TIME. The headband broke the first time after about 4 months of regular use and I treat my headphones with care. Mailed them back and Beyer repaired them for free. However...- elektrobank55

Hmm. If there's not much sound quality to be gained, what is the purpose of the amp? I guess I thought that was the purpose... Quote:- elektrobank55

The PA2V2 Thread
Eric, did you notice more of a change in sound quality/fullness after adjusting the gain setting? My main concern is that I'm not really noticing a difference since I've been using the amp with my iPod. However, I'm wondering if adjusting the gain will make that difference more apparent. The PA2V2 Thread
NEED ADVICE ON NEW PA2V2 AMP Ok, so I recently received my brand new PA2V2 amp from Gary, and I'm still not sure if it is making a difference. It could be because I'm an audio noob (this is my first headphone amp), or it could be my gear, or it could be that it needs to burn in... but I'm...- elektrobank55

Review by 'elektrobank55' on item 'Sennheiser HD448 Around the Ear Headphones'
I would like to preface this review by saying that I'm sort of an audio noob. I'm a music nut, but have only recently really started to get into the tech, and these are the first headphones I have purchased that cost more over $30. Man was I missing out! What I listen to: Rock, Metal...- elektrobank55
