An NP audio modified 1A outperforms a stock 1Z and matches an NP audio modified 1Z. (All running Walkman One same sig/settings) p.s. I sold my 1Z and kept my 1A V5 mod. Both look the same in a fatbear case but the 1A is much more comfortable in my pocket.

Yes keep hold, one of the best sounding DAPs still, and you also have the choice of having it professionally modified to 4.4mm and open Android.

Also avoid Losoncoer (or at least the advertised mAh) probably the same company as Hsabat. I don't think they make any batteries at all just the fancy label wraps with fake mAh ratings. If you remove the label it's wrapped in you can sometimes see the original mAh that they didn't fully wipe...

I noticed this too. I don't know if it happens on all firmware versions as I bought it used with the latest already installed.

I believe yours is NP Audio modified and using their custom gold gui ? Mine is too and as their gold gui firmware is based on the latest Walkman One beta then J3 will work just fine.

I second that, they fixed my R2R2000 Red digitiser too, I was really upset after Hifiman said they couldn't help. You must be pretty distraught with it been the Black! Worth asking if they have any or can source any screens.

The CPU performance of the SD665 SOC is actually slower than the SD660. The GPU of SD665 is however slightly faster but of next to no benefit in a DAP unless you use it for gaming. The SD665 is also a little more power efficient but throttling back CPU clock of the SD660 to match probably makes...

I haven't come across any further info on their weibo blog or by searching on Baidu unfortunately.
