Perhaps some bass. HE560 really needs a powerful amp to shine. iFi Zen Air Can power output may not be enough: (75mW@600Ω, 660mW@64Ω, 1200mW@32Ω)

Yes, it is! And it sounds best for me with the original HE400 running from a Topping A30 Pro amplifier. (6W max. output power) I do not have the HE560 anymore so I cannot compare...

SR3 is a wonderful headphone, I agree. My only cans that could be close to it in the sound department is an original (deep-blue) HiFiman HE400 with SMC connectors and Focuspad-A earpads amped with a Topping A30 Pro headphone amplifier. I would say it gives me the 4/5 of that sound quality...
