Interests: I'm going to use the "interests" section as the "about me" because that section is limited to 100 characters. There should be a sectioned titled Gear Philosophy i.e. how one approaches this hobby.

I made some questionable purchases before discovering this forum. But I love "good" sound; I just didn't know what comprises Good sound nor what components enable it until recently.

Ah well, it's a process, you know? I'm getting better at it. My current M50 + Digizoid combo is pretty sweet for about $140...

I could afford to get some top-of-the-line gear, but I get off on price/performance. I overclock my computer. My car puts out 115 more horsepower *to the wheels* than stock and it can smoke a Ferrari Modena for less than $10,000 including the price of the car. My home theater setup was less than $1,000 but rocks 55" LCD with DTS 5.1, PS3/Blu-ray, etc.

I price/performance EVERYTHING.
