HiFiMan Poor Build Quality?
Are there quality issues amongst all their products? Do you think I'd be able to exchange the RE-ZEROs for another product, or is that something that's not usually done? I'm just a bit frustrated. $100 is not a trivial amount of money for me to spend on something that's never really worked...- dlawton

HiFiMan Poor Build Quality?
About a year ago I bought the HiFiMan RE-ZERO IEMs since they came highly recommended here. I loved the sound, but have since really regretted the purchase. The volume in the left earpiece dropped out, and I contacted HiFiMan support. We went back and forth through 21 emails, they sent me 2...- dlawton

Strange issue with HiFiMan RE-ZERO IEM
I don't think I've been particularly rough. Also, would a frayed cable cause the sound to just cut out randomly like I described, even if the cable isn't really moving around? Also, when the sound cuts out it seems worse when I remove the jack adapter. This really made me think it was...- dlawton

Strange issue with HiFiMan RE-ZERO IEM
So the first few months of owning my RE-ZEROs were great, but then I noticed sound cutting out slightly in the left earpiece, like it would get quieter than the right. I tried other headphones and they sounded fine, I asked HiFiMan about the issue and they agreed to RMA the IEMs. However...- dlawton

Asus Xonar DG and Pro-Gaming Mode re: Ohms
What's the risk though? That's the question I'm asking but it doesn't seem like anyone knows :)- dlawton

Asus Xonar DG and Pro-Gaming Mode re: Ohms
Yes, but not as much. It's not very noticeable (maybe doesn't even occur) if sound/music is playing so it's not as big of a deal right now. I assume it's just some sort of interference I can't do anything about.- dlawton

Asus Xonar DG and Pro-Gaming Mode re: Ohms
Well, I prefer the Pro-Gaming Mode because I like how loud it is (and is partly why I bought a soundcard with a headphone amp), but again I'm asking the significance of the 32~64 ohm description and the warning pop-up and if I can harm my headphones if they're 18 ohm. If it's okay to use the...- dlawton

Asus Xonar DG and Pro-Gaming Mode re: Ohms
I don't know much about techy audio stuff. I just bought an Asus Xonar DG soundcard, and I'm curious about the "Pro-Gaming Mode" headset option. Next to the option it says "for 32~64 ohm headsets." I mainly use Klipsch S4 earbuds which are listed as 18 ohm. I usually use Pro-Gaming Mode as it...- dlawton
