between the er6 and er6i, the er6i is much less fatiguing, more balanced, and doesn't have the annoying mid treble hump that the er6 has. I definitely prefer the er6i. Very tolerable unamped as well.

The least fatiguing closed can I have used is the beyer 250-80. The treble is a little rolled off, but this disappears after a few minutes, and they are very comfortable and non-fatiguing. I think the sony v6 will probably be recommended by some others, but I find that can more fatiguing...
